Cancelling & refunds

Leaving is two clicks

Last updated 28 August 2026

A subscription you cannot find the end of is a subscription people come to resent. So cancelling Nestled is a button in the app, not an email to us, and this page says plainly what happens when you press it.

How to cancel

Open Nestled → Profile → Change card or cancel. That opens Stripe's billing portal, where Cancel plan ends the subscription.

No notice period, no phone call, no reason required. If you would rather we did it, email hello@joinnestled.com from the address on your account and we will cancel it for you.

Nestled is operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Full trading details are available on request by email.

What happens next

You keep what you paid for. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not cut your access short. If you cancel on the 3rd and your month runs to the 20th, Nestled keeps working normally until the 20th.

After that your home becomes read-only: everything is still there to look at, but you cannot add to it, and the Telegram bot stops filing things. About a week later it closes to a resubscribe screen.

Nothing is deleted. Your lists, trips, photos and memories stay exactly as you left them, for as long as you leave them. Resubscribing at any point brings it all back with nothing lost. If you would rather it were all gone, ask us and we will delete it properly — see the privacy notice.

Refunds

We do not give partial refunds for unused time. When you cancel, you keep access to the end of the month you have already paid for, and we do not refund the days you did not use.

The reason we are comfortable with that is the 7 days free at the start, with no card asked for. That is a full week to decide whether Nestled is for you before any money changes hands, which is a better protection than a refund policy.

If something has gone genuinely wrong — you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or the service was broken for a meaningful stretch — that is not a refund policy question, it is us making a mistake. Email hello@joinnestled.com and we will put it right.

Your statutory rights

Buying online gives you a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Because Nestled starts working the moment you subscribe, you are asking us to begin supplying a digital service straight away, and once it has been supplied that right no longer applies.

None of this affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the service is not as described, not carried out with reasonable care, or unfit for purpose. Those rights cannot be signed away, and nothing on this page tries to.

If a payment fails

Stripe retries a failed payment over a few days. If it never succeeds, the subscription ends by itself and everything above applies: read-only first, then closed, nothing deleted.

The beta price

During the beta the first month is £2.99 and every month after is £5.99. Cancelling and resubscribing later does not guarantee the beta price again — it is an introductory discount, not a standing rate.
